Unjust Reservation Policy....

63 years and still countingggggg......the RESERVATION
Many of you might feel that y I opted to go for the wrong spelling of a simple word???Well it’s just to lay emphasis over the underlying issue which seems to be a quite serious one and must have haunted each one of us in some way or the other. Yes i am talking about the issue of RESERVATION though meant for the upliftment of the weaker section of the society but now seem out to be nightmare for the meritorious students.
Well when the framers of our constitution have drafted the lengthiest written of its type some 60 years back they wouldn’t have even imagined about the current scenario. Our constitution provided the reservation to the SC and ST with a weight age of 7.5% and 15% respectively but our democratically elected representatives just for the sake of their vote bank have mad provisions for the reservations of OBC’s as well and that took a heavy toll of 27% and now that makes the total number of reserved seats up to 49.5%, if the situation prevails then the time is not far away when we will have to provide reservation to the people belonging to the General Category.
It’s not just that reservation denies the deserving ones their due it also hampers the very intellectualism of the nation coz when the people who are at the helm of various posts are not sufficiently capable of doing their assigned job, how can we expect them to function properly and in turn our nation.
Recently I came across an article which stated that in Allahabad Medical College there are a few students belonging to the reserved category  who are in the age of around 38-40 and are yet not able to get their MBBS degree, isn’t it a symbolic of degradation of the academic standards in our nation????How can such people become good doctors in future??? Or do we really need them???In my opinion it’s a sheer wastage of government funds, money and resources. Another example is from the CPWD department where the employees of the reserved category of batch as late as 2000 were promoted to the designation of A.E and the people belonging to the general category of batches as early as 1990 are yet to get their due, isn’t this going to create a discontent amongst those hard working employees when they will see their juniors becoming their bosses????How can we expect a good government work then?
The pro –reservation supporters will argue that there are still weaker sections of the society which need to be taken care-off so that they can come up-to the normal level to lead a happy life, I also have the same feeling and sentiments but I just don’t understand the blindfolded approach of government in imparting reservation, I feel the policy should be a bit more rationale and justifiable.
I mean suppose a person has become an IAS officer through the reserved category then  don’t think so he really needs to get the privileges of being in a backward class when the person reaches to such a post then at least his direct descendants should not be allowed to enjoy the same rights as he did in the past.
Also at college level there should be some norms for the students that if they are unable to pass the exams in a certain period of time they should be terminated, many will argue that the people belonging to the reserved category are discriminated and not treated respectfully, my argument is that if the govt. itself differentiates them then how can the common man is supposed to be unbiased towards them???I might sound a bit harsh to the people who are supporters of reservation but actually I am not, m just against the way how reservation is assigned. Instead of providing reservation on the basis of the CASTE it should be provided based on the economic status of a person or family, another good option is to provide the reservation at the primary education level rather than providing it at the some of our premier institutions like IIT’s and IIM’s because I this way we can also prevent the declining trend in our academic standards.
There can be some other ways too apart from the above mentioned and I will surely support them but I m in strong disagreement with the current RESERVATION POLICY......................

Was it a  DRAMA or an EYE-OPENER???
Even as one pass by a local tea vendor in our vicinity what we are sure to hear about is “BLACK MONEY” or in the common man’s language “KAALA DHAN” this much is the vigil that campaign of BABA has brought into people,  now turning onto past who was the pioneer who first highlighted this term???well the answer is not difficult its the same man who is now surrounded by the shackles of controversy Ramkrishna Yadav alias BABA RAMDEV !!!!!!
We all were very happy way back in 2009 when he first launched  campaign to regain the unaccounted wealth that the beauracrats and our politicians are having, everyone raised a toast in his name and we somewhere felt in our heart that “shayad ab desh ka kuch bhala hoga”  but recently the whole thing seems to have turned upside down those who earlier seemed out to be his staunch supporters see him as BIGOT  and are not leaving any chance to attack him from any side his whole image is set to be in turmoil by the outrageous campaign that govt. Has launched against him i dont understand why the govt is looking all flamboyant and lamented against him just now when he decided to fast unto death????was our govt sleeping  all those years in which it claims BABA flourished his empire??? The answer to these questions is quite simple that govt had to take the steps in order to disgrace BABA publically and proving him out to be culprit so that some attention can be diverted from the cronyistic govt.
We must not forget what Baba Ramdev’s real agenda was ,it was his campaign against black money, he never asked that one should not get into the business thing,,he never criticised Ambanis’ or Tatas’ or any of the other corporate houses for the profit they are making,so why we are against his Business empire??? Everyone wishes to live a leisurely life so isnt Ramdev  entitled to it???? The empire that he has built over these years is  a process of gradual expanision of his business tactics and popularity among the people round the world, so wat if he uses a chartered plane or uses a Merc or even BUGGATTI VERON he has never asked anyone to follow the principle of austerity drive he was just against BLACK MONEY and this was his crime, that the govt. Lead police ransacked his followers on the mid-nit without bothering that whether they were male or female, here was a perfect example that our govt. has seriously taken into consideration the issue of gender empowerment. It  was a serious matter of misuse of power the same govt. provided the extremist-separatist  of huriyyat conference assembly  to take place in full security and has attacked the lame and innocent people who were there for a righteous cause. Isnt it a mockery of our democracy when the govt. is using power just to serve its purpose???the question stands unanswered..........
Now when he has ended his fast people are saying that it was mere publicity stunt he shouldn’t  have either fasted or if he had taken the decision he should have maintained it,but my question is would it have affected our insane govt. anyhow??? The govt. who is  also criticising ANNA HAZARE and spreading falsehood against that humble person who can be unanimously be termed as modern GANDHI so how can we believe this  galloping govt. Also lets not forget that Baba Ramdev has a very large group of adherent supporters who could have outbursted and situation could have been worse.
Now the positive’s what we can extract out of this act is the public can be very clear about  duplicitous behaviour of our national leaders who firstly met him personally when they were not able to persuade him they started cursing him and his empire. It’s a wakeup call for us all and we should now take steps at our own level  to help india get out this malpractice named CORRUPTION!!!!!!

5th june ramlila maidaan massacre.......

5th june before the one in 2011 was known by the name of WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY but from today atleast we the INDIANS are also gonna remember this by Ramlila maidaan massacre........
some of u might think y i have written this word massacre????its actually coz the nation which guarantees us SIX fundamental rights in which one is FREEDOM OF FREE EXPRESSION we hav tyo witness such a day...this is really a scar on our nation which claims it to be the World's Largest Democracy.
ohhh!!! i doubt r we really living in democracy???  i guess people in power hav forgotten the meaning of this 9 letter word, what a show of muscle power over the poor people who were just carrying out a peaceful protest against govt.'s policy against black money, they were beaten ruthlessly for no reason, who is gonna take the responsibility of all this??? Manmohan Singh or Sonia Gandhi or firebrand Kapil Sibbal???
the condition seems out to be even worst than wats happening in LIBIYA atlst their govt. and military are attacking those who r carrying out the violent protests but in our nation the same atrocities are happening to innocent people....if the leaders of our nation r still left wid any sense of morality and humanity i urge them please step down frm ur positions coz u dnt deserve them coz in the past we hav seen some the greatest people over them like SHASTRIJI and JAYAPRAKASH NARAYAN and u people r no way even near to shadow of these great men......i consider this day as the black day in the Independent India this can be reagrded as the second most dreadful atrocity of the regime in power after the Jaliyawala Massacre tragedy, the only difference in the latter we were slaves to outsider but in former we r slaves to our own people.
How helpless we are.......

ongoing ramdev's hunger strike

After a month or so of ANNA-KRANTI its now time for RAMDEV'S andhi....
well wat i personally feel is watever mr.Ramdev is doing no matter for watever reason he might be doing it is actually the right thing to teach govt. a lesson that gone are those days wen the JANTA-JANARDAN was befooled by the politicians its time we should stand united against the patriarchs' of corruption.
Corruption as we all know is one of the graetest barriers in the ongoing process of our nation of being regarded as developed nation, so it becomes necessary to take immediate steps to root out this evil.
Many of us are of the opinion that its a mere publicity stunt and a politically motivated step but lets not forget that politics is actually meant for the bettermenty of the society and so we should support him.
We all know India has almost 1/3 of population which can be strictly categorised as youth and we r the furture of our nation so we should stand together and support this noble cause not by sitting next to BABA in the pandal but by abolishing the unfair means in our day to day work.
